Godet Folle Blanche
Godet Epicure Folle Blanche, is the very first of all cognacs. It is distilled from Folle Blanche grapes, which was planted at the beginning of the 16th century. This cognac has a very low acid virtue, which gives a smoothness even when young. Tender & voluptuous, delicate & elegant, this cognac delightfully illustrates the original flavour of cognac, as the kings of France used to like it.
Folle Blanche grapes almost disappeared in the 19th century due to the Phylloxera plague. Since 1980, the Godet family has replanted these ancestral grapes, which produces the finest and most fragrant of Eau de Vies.
Folle Blanche is indeed a rare grape for a very rare cognac. Its distinctive taste is unequalled in the world of cognac.
Orangey hue. Delicate nose gradually unfurling pronounced floral tones. On the palate, a clean, honest cognac with clear emphasis on freshness, balance, and instant pleasure.
The organoleptic qualities of the “Folle Blanche” are a very floral nose and a great smoothness in the mouth with a fruity taste. This cognac has no acidity.
